SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 35971,
A LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
AND COWTOWN BOWMEN
This SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 35971 ("Second
Renewal") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, Texas, a home -rule municipal
corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager ("City"),
and Cowtown Bowmen ("Licensee"), a Texas nonprofit corporation, acting by and through its duly
authorized representative. City and Licensee are herein referred to individually as a ("Party") and
collectively as the ("Parties").
WHEREAS, on July 1, 2007, the City entered into a License Agreement with Licensee for the
purpose of providing an archery range for practice and tournament play at the City -owned park known as
Wildwood North Park, located at 9900 Watercress, Fort Worth, Texas,76108, the same being City Secretary
Contract ("CSC") Contract Number 35971 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for an initial ten-year term with two successive five-year
renewal options (each a "Renewal Term");
WHEREAS, July 1, 2017, the Parties exercised the first renewal term;
WHEREAS, the first renewal term expired on June 30,2022 and the Parties mutually acknowledge
they have continued to perform in accordance with the terms and conditions as if the Agreement is in full
force and effect;
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of the Parties to extend the Agreement through the second
renewal term; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree to renew the Agreement as follows:
I.
The City and Licensee hereby agree to renew and extend the Agreement for a second renewal term
effective beginning on July 1, 2022 and expiring on June 30, 2027.
II.
1. All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended pursuant to this
Second Renewal shall remain in full force and effect.
2. All terms in this Second Renewal that are capitalized but not defined shall have the
meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.
