SECOND AMENDMENT AND SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NO. 57241, A NON-EXCLUSIVE MOWING AND GROUNDS
MAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR ALLEYWAY MAINTENANCE
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND LEON'S LANDSCAPE SERVICES,
LLC
This SECOND AMENDMENT AND SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY
SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER 57241 ("Second Amendment and Second Renewal")
is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH ("City"), a home -rule
municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant
City Manager, and LEON'S LANDSCAPE SERVICES, LLC ("Contractor"), a Texas limited
liability company, acting by and through its duly authorized representative.
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor entered into a non-exclusive mowing and grounds
maintenance services agreement, City Secretary Contract Number 57241 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for a primary term of one year, with four (4)
subsequent one-year renewal options;
WHEREAS, the primary term expired on September 30, 2022;
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor exercised the First Amendment and First Renewal
Option, which expires on September 30, 2023, the same being CSC No. 57241-R1A1; the
Amendment to the Agreement increased the authorized contract amount to $366,750.00 from
$293,400.00 and included a 5.0% price adjustment to all inventory.
WHEREAS, the parties desire to exercise the second one-year renewal term, effective
beginning on October 1, 2023 and ending on September 30, 2024;
WHEREAS, Contractor requested a unit price increase of 5.0% for work that it performs
at certain locations throughout the City; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City and Contractor agree to renew and amend the
Agreement for one additional year as follows:

The City and Contractor agree to renew and amend the Agreement for the second renewal
term, effective beginning on October 1, 2023 and ending on September 30, 2024 ("Second
Amendment and Second Renewal").

II.
All unit prices in Exhibit B of the Agreement, including any previous On -Call
amendments if applicable, pertaining to grounds maintenance are hereby amended to increase the
pricing by 5.0% for all locations set forth in ITB/RFP No. 21-0096.
M.
1. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect
except as specifically set forth in this Second Amendment and Second Renewal.
2. All terms of this Second Amendment and Second Renewal that are capitalized but
not defined have the meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and Contractor have executed this Second
Amendment and Second Renewal to be effective on October 1, 2023.
