Re: Lease Agreement ("Lease") between the City of Fort Worth ("Lessor") and the Fort Worth MedTech
Center, Inc., dba TechFW ("Lessee") for the building known as the former gymnasium building in the
Guinn School Complex ("Building"), located at 1120 S. Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas. (City Secretary
Contract No. 37784)
Dear. Mr. Sorrells;
This letter is to acknowledge receipt of your Option to Renew letter and confirmation of the renewal of
the lease as provided in Section 1.2 of the Lease agreement.
The lease was signed between TechFW and the City on October 14, 2008, with a primary term beginning
October 25, 2008 and ending September 30, 2018, with two successive renewal terms of five years each,
from October 1, 2018, to September 30, 2023, and from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2028.
Per Section 1.2, exercise of any such option requires written notice by Lessee to Lessor sixty days prior to
the expiration of the previous term. Lessee provided notice prior on April 10, 2023, expressing interest in
exercising the renewal option.
This letter will serve as confirmation by both parties that the lease will begin it second renewal term on
October 1, 2023 and will end on September 20, 2028.
