Home My WebLink AboutContract 56728-A1CSC No. 56728-A1 FIRST AMENDMENT OF MASTER WORKSITE TRAINING EMPLOYER AGREEMENT AND ADDENDUM BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS FOR TARRANT COUNTY (CSC NO. 56728) This First AMENDMENT ("First Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH ("City"), a home -rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized representative, and WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS FOR TARRANT COUNTY, ("Agent"), a Non -Profit, acting by and through its duly authorized representative. City and Agent are herein referred to individually as a ("Party") and collectively as the ("Parties"). WHEREAS, on December 10, 2021, City and Agent entered into a Master Worksite Training Employer Agreement and Addendum to provide work experience/subsidized employment/transitional jobs at Highland Hills Community Center, located at 1600 Glasgow Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76134, the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract ("CSC") Number 56728 ("Agreement"); WHEREAS, the Agreement provides a primary term of five -years and five (5) automatic one-year renewal terms (each a "Renewal Term"); WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to include all City of Fort Worth community centers and athletic facilities; and NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained herein, the Parties agree to amend the Agreement as follows: I. City and Agent hereby agree to amend the Agreement to provide an updated listing of approved work experience sites ("Work Experience Site"), to include all City of Fort Worth community centers and athletic facilities, as further described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The Parties further agree any reference to specific Work Experience Site within this Agreement shall be deemed inclusive of all community centers and athletic facilities under the jurisdiction of the City. Agent shall provide services per the terms and conditions of this Agreement at any City -operated community center and/or athletic facility as administratively approved by the Park & Recreation Department ("PARD") and/or Neighborhood Services ("NSD") Director or his/her designee, without the need for additional amendments to specify the participating centers or athletic facility. II. 1. All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended pursuant to this First Amendment shall remain in full force and effect. 2.
