STANDARD AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

COUNTY OF TARRANT
WHEREAS, The City of Fort Worth and PBK Architects, Inc. dba BEAM Professionals
(Consultant) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 59639 (The Contract)
which was authorized administratively, the 21st day of June, 2023, for the FWCC South
Fagade and Star Tower exterior sealant joint replacement; and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse the Consultant as part of the
design services agreement for additional design services for Water Testing of the
sealant replacement.
NOW THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the
Contract:
1.
Article I — Scope of Services, Paragraph (3) shall be added to read as follows:
(3) Provide additional design services for the design and detailing of Water Testing.
The cost of this additional service is $2,500.00 plus $0.00 in reimbursable
expenses. The scope of services is described more fully in PBK Architects, Inc.
dba BEAM Professionals Letter dated October 10, 2023, subject: "Additional
Service Fee Proposal Exterior Sealant Replacement window water testing for the
Ft. Worth Convention Center South Facade and Star Tower exterior sealant joint
replacement".

Article II — Compensation, first paragraph, is amended as follows:
"Consultant shall be compensated in accordance with the Fee Schedule shown
in Attachment "A". Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor,
materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the services
described in Attachment "A". However, the total fee paid by the City shall not
exceed a total of &13,300.00 unless the City and the Consultant mutually agree
upon a fee amount for additional services and amend this Agreement
accordingly."

for the Ft Worth Convention Center South Facade and Star Tower exterior sealant
joint replacement
Dear Mr Clements:
On behalf of BEAM, we want to express how much we genuinely appreciate the request to provide
Building Envelope Consulting services for reroofing at the above -named facilities.
BEAM will deliver additional water testing services of the window sealant replacement project Our team
understands the time sensitivity of these projects and stands ready to deliver as needed.
I. SCOPE OF WORK:
Ft Worth Convention Center South Facade and Star Tower exterior sealants replacement 1201 N.
Houston, Ft Worth Texas 76102
Water testing services:
Provide AAMA 501.2 water penetration testing of approximately 5% of the window and sealant section
of the overall scope of work area on the above mentioned project at the Ft Worth Convention Center
address.
BEAM Professionals will provide water hose and wand to perform the test for exterior sealant
replacement scopes of the above building area. The approved contractor will provide lift to access
elevated window locations.
II. SCOPE OF SERVICES:
BEAM understands the scope of work to be as follows
• Provide water testing of the windows and sealants on approximately 5% of the areas scope
of work.:
III. COMPENSATION:
BEAM is pleased to offer our comprehensive corporate design services for this project at an approximate
fee of assessment fee and 6% of the estimated exterior sealant replacement of the project. Fees will be
based off finale construction cost

Additional services A/E Fees $2,500.00
Reimbursables —Reimbursables for this project will include only pre -approved reimbursables by Owner -
potential approved costs associated maybe print and/or reproduction costs associated with project
documentation (deliverables). In addition, Structural and/or MEP engineering costs, if any, will be billed
as a reimbursable. Reimbursables will be billed at cost (no markup)
