During installation of the 24" water line it was discovered that the connections would be made to a 24" RCP pipe' instead of
24• Ductile Iron pipe as is called out on tfte plans. Tl)~-conpection to the 24" RCP requires ~ fittings that resulted irf
extra, cost and I~ AJso , during the installation of the s.nitary Sewer llnea on Meadowbrook Dr, it WU discovered the ·, ~ ,
plans G88 out. for the abandonment of existing Sewer lines by filling with Flowabl& f!II, No pay item was prov~ for tt,e ;: ·
proper abandonment of existing: Sewer' lines. The contract dC>ef ~ot pn;,vide this proc;ess of abandonment as an incidental
due to the fact that _the abandoned sewer Hne is in different ditch line. Pay item 25 is needed to facilitate the work anct cost
for proper abandonment of~ exi~ng Sewer lines. (?uri~th& instati.tion·i,f the 2~" '!Jafsr line, conflicts ·with Storm Drain" .
pipe was dlscoverect. lt was necessary to remove and relocate Storm Drain pipe. TJ,ls resulted in increased quantities of
Strom Drain pipe removal and new pipe: ]'he increased quantities for ciass Ill RCP pipe 'andremoval is ·needed to facilitate
