WHEREAS,, the City of Fort W orth (CITY) and Jacob's Fn ineer ng
Group,, Inc. , (ENGINEER) made and entered into 1 ty Secretary Contract No.
43132, (the CONTRACT) which was administratively authorized on the 18'1'
day f April, 2012 'in the amount of $ 49, 981 . 00, and
WHEARAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised y: Amendment Number
.. in the amount of $39, 837 . 00 which was administratively authorized
November 20, 2012 and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT n of es engineering services for the
following proj�ect.*
Secur-Ity Improvements at Alliance Airport, CPN 1978; and.
WHEREAS,, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased sc e of work and revised fee
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGI ER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement,
which amends the C NT C '

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to nclu the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal dated December 02, 2013, a.
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein . The cost to
City for the additional design services to be performed b Engineer
totals $9,914 . 00.

Article II of the CONTRACT' is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended., so that the total fee paid by the City for all

RED Request for Additional Funds for the ACIA Security Fence and Vehicular
Gate Replacements and CCTV Upgrades
This is a request for your consideration for additional funds for the above referenced project.The
current contract for construction phase services is well beyond,the original scheduled date.The current
contract allows for 11 weeks for completion of the project. Jacobs'fee is based on this schedule; plus an
,additional two (2)weeks for project start up and closeout.We are currently looking at completing the
project in 31 weeks,which is 20,weeks beyond the contract date.
Additional site visits and meetings have occurred during the additional 20 weeks of construction, Below
is a summary of the cost per occurrence and quantity.
