COUNTY OF TARRANT §
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Dannenbaum Engineering
Corporation (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No.
38950 (the Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-
23658 on the 13th of August, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following
project:
2008 Capital Improvements Program Arterial Street Project —
Ray White Road
Project No. 01294
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to
said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum
fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through
their duly-authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement
which amends the Contract:
1.
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated March 14, 2011, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City
for the additional services to be performed by Engineer total $19,676.00.
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the
maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed
under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall not exceed the sum of $236,407.00

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended
herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

RE: Supplemental Agreement No. 1
Ray White Road Paving Improvements
City Project Nos. 01294
Dear Ms. Smith:
Per your request, we have prepared and are submitting for your review the attachments to
Supplemental Agreement No.1, which includes the design of traffic signal modifications at both
the Ray White Road/North Tarrant Parkway intersection and the Ray White Road/Shiver Road
intersection; collection of topographic survey updates to include two new developments along the
west right-of-way of Ray White Road; and preparation and distribution of a Public Meeting
Notification.
We have included services from A.N.A. Consultants,L.L.C. to perform topographic surveys
within the expanded project limits. The above referenced sub-contractors are certified MWBE.
This will result in a 22.9%portion of the overall project agreement that will be performed by
approved M/WBE firms.
If you are in agreement with the attachments for Supplemental Agreement Number 1, our
authorized compensation will increase by $19,676.00. The $216,731.00 contract amount
previously authorized will be increased to $236,407.00. Please do not hesitate to call if you have
