AMENDMENT No. 3 CONTRACT No. _
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Teague Nall and Perkins,
Inc . , (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 40079,
(the CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C C-24151 on the 6th day of
April, 2010 in the amount of $121, 823 . 00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by: Amendment Number
1 in the amount of $23 , 800 . 00 which was administratively authorized on
June 24, 2011 and Amendment Number 2 in the amount of $4 , 025 . 00 which was
administratively authorized on January 9, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the
following project: Scott-Sunset Drainage Improvements, Project No. 00628;
and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 3 to the
CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their
duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement,
which amends the CONTRACT:

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal dated May 15, 2012, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City
for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals
$4, 910 . 00 .
2 .
Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in
the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under
the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of $154 , 558 . 00 .
3 .
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly
amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Owen:
Teague Nall and Perkins(TNP)is submitting this fee amendment for the above referenced contract
based on additional services requested by the City of Fort Worth. The following is a brief description
and cost for the additional services TNP will provide:
Additional Services for Geotechnical Services
Geotechnical services will be utilized to get2 soil bores at depths of 50' and 25'to help
determine the depth of rock at the Trinity River outfall. A soil bore log and short geotechnical
report will be included with this work. This information is particularly critical in determining the
type of installation that will be necessary for the Sheet Piling coffer dam.
Total Contract Amendment No.3: $4,910
