COUNTY OF TARRANT S
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and DeOtte, Inc. ,
(Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No.
40124, (the Contract) which was executed administratively by the
City Manager on the 26th day of April 2010; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the
following project:
Meadowbrook Golf Course Drainage Improvements, Project No. 01701
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1
to said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised
maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and
through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the
following agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the
additional engineering services specified in a proposal letter
dated March 17, 2011, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design
services to be performed by Engineer total $8,500 .00.
2 .
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an
increase in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work
and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not
exceed the sum of 33,466.00.

All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended
herein shall remain in full force and effect.

SUBJECT: AMENDMENT 1;2010 EROSION CONTROL IMPROVEMENTS FOR
MEADOWBROOK GOLF COURSE (DOI#2009115-00)
The following information is provided as supporting documentation for the approval of amendment
1 to the subject project. DeOtte,Inc.was requested to provide cost information for a revision to the
construction plans to convert the design from a Gabion Wall design to the RediRock Wall design.
In order to complete the design revision,a Geotechnical Study and Report will be required to
complete the structural design of the proposal wall. Additionally,the plan,profile and cross sections
contained within the civil plans will need to be revised to show the layout of the proposed wall which
complies with RediRock dimensions. The following is a breakdown of the fees associated with this
amendment:
Geotechnical Study and Report $3,500.00
Engineering Design Revision $5,000.00
TOTAL: $8,500.00
The geotechnical report and study will be subcontracted to CMJ Engineering. There is no MWBE
work associated with this amendment.
