AMENDMENT No.2 CONTRACTNO.
TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
HER , the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Black and
Veatch Corporation (ENGINEER) de and entered into City
,Secretary Contract No. 276131 the CONTRACT), which was authorized,
by M&C C-190401 on the 9th
day of April., 2002 n the amount of
$'176,640.00; and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by
Amendment Number 1 in the amount of $183, 875 . oo which was
authorized by M&C C-23953 on December 8, 2009; and
WIIER the CONTRACT involves engineering Services for
the following pNro j ect
Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, Contract L I (61
VVYWRFAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No.
to the CONTRACT to .include an increased scope of work and
revi s ed fee.
NOW REFORE, CITY'' and ENGINEER., acting herein by, and
through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the
following agreement, Which amends the CONTRACT:

Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the
additional engineering services specified, in a proposal dated

increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and
services, performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by, the City for all work and services shall be an
amount, of $317'01 1 511-51 - 00, -

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not
expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

Contract Amendment Request
Dear Mr. Chaubey.,
This letter is our formal request for Contract Amendment No. 2 for the above-referenced project. As you
know, this project has essential been on "hold"for several years while the City acquired the easements
necessary for construction of the project.,
This contract amendment will provide full compensation for the following engineering services.-
• Relocate/redesign the proposed sewer along Long Street from under the sidewalk to within
the street pavement, as requested by the City staff during final design.
• Replace the previously-completed detail sheet and revise references on plan sheets to reflect
the latest City standards.
• Prepare/revise the specifications/contract documents book for bidding.
• Revise bid items and prepare bid form in accordance with the latest City standards,.
Our requested additional fee for Contract Amendment No. 2 is$10,000, which would increase the total
contract amount to$370,515, A contract summary is provided below:
