FIRST AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 45509,
A TRUST FUND EVENT SUPPORT CONTRACT WITH RANCH SORTING
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, LLC
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NUMBER
45509 ("First Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth,
Texas, a home-rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas ("City"), acting by and through
its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and Ranch Sorting National Championships, LLC, a
Colorado limited liability company ("Company").
WHEREAS, the City and Company entered into a trust fund event support contract for
the Ranch Sorting National Championships National Finals to be held at the Will Rogers
Memorial Center from June 9, 2014 through June 14, 2014, the same being City Secretary
Contract Number 45509 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, after executing the Agreement, the Company changed the name of its event
from the Ranch Sorting National Championships National Finals to the 2014 RSNC World
Finals;
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Agreement to reflect the new name of the
event; and
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements
contained herein, the City and the Company do mutually covenant and agree to amend the
Agreement as follows:
I.
Section A of the Recitals portion of the Agreement is amended to read as follows:
"A. Company operates the 2014 RSNC World Finals (the "Event"),
which specific Event is held not more than one time in Texas or an
adjoining state in any year."
II.
All terms and conditions of the Agreement that are not expressly amended pursuant to
this First Amendment shall remain in full force and effect.
III.
All terms in this First Amendment that are capitalized but not defined shall have the
meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.
