COUNTY OF TARRANT $
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and A.N.A Consultants,
L.L.0 (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No.
29018 (the Contract) which was authorized by the City Council by M&C
C-19700 on the 12th day of August, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the
following project:
Engineering contract for Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacement
Contract, 2002 STM-O.
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to
said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised
maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following
agreement, which amends the Contract:
1 .
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated June 8,
2004 , a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed
by Engineer total $24 ,793.00.
2 .
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an
increase in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and
services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not
exceed the sum of $181,886.00.

All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended
herein shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Chaubey:
Due to numerous breaks in the existing 12" water line in Fuller Street the City has requested ANA
Consultants to include the replacement of the 12" water line in Fuller Street from Mc Cart to Gordon
Avenue, the City has requested the City has requested this line segment be added to A.N.A.
Consultants current contract for STM-O. The following summary for Amendment No. 1 is presented
for your review:
• Design of approximately 1,750 If 12" water line
• Design of approximately 750 If 8" water line
This request for additional services are not part of our existing contract and will exceed our current
scope of work for this project. A.N.A. Consultants, L.L.C. is recommending that our current contract
be amended to include these additional services and corresponding fee adjustments. The following
summary for Amendment No. 1 is presented for your review:
• Estimated Construction Costs for All Lines = $ 171,680.00
Basic Engineering Fee based on % of construction (T.S.P.E. Curve %)
(TSPE Curve 10% x 0.85 = 8.5 %) $ 14,593.00

All current contractual requirements shall apply to the Amendment No.1 services. In order to meet
our M/WBE goal for this project, we will be using our current Sub-consultant, L.A. Blueline to
participate in reprographic services for Amendment No. 1 services for the amount of$ 1,984.00. This
will result in an 8% portion of this Amendment No. 1.
