COUNTY OF TARRANT $
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Parsons Water and
Infrastructure, Inc. (Engineer) made and entered into City
Secretary Contract No. 31257, (the Contract) which was authorized
by the City Council by M&C C-20470 on the 4th day of January, 2005
and subsequently revised by two previous amendments; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the
following project:
Water and Sanitary Sewer Main Replacements on Throckmorton
Street and 14th Street
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 3 to
said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised
maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following
agreement which amends the Contract:

Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated December
2, 2005, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be
performed by Engineer total $10,046. 19.
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an
increase in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and
services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not
exceed the sum of $104 ,704 . 15.

3.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended
herein shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Chaubey:
At your request, we plan to do nine additional d-holes in the project area to
identify any utility conflicts with the proposed storm drain and sanitary sewer. The cost
for the additional subsurface utility engineering and survey is $10,046.19 which includes
a 10% mark-up allowed by our contract. A breakdown of the costs is attached.
Therefore, we request an amendment in this amount to cover the costs of the additional
survey work.
Original Contract Amount $81,319.98
Amendment No. 1 $ 3,205.00
Amendment No. 2 $10,132.98
Amendment No. 3 $10,046.19
Total Contract Amount $104,704.15
