WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) , the Fort Worth Convention and
Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Hunden Strategic Partners, Inc. (CONSULTANT)
made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 45034, (the CONTRACT)
which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-26509 on the 15th day
of October, 2013 in the amount of $162, 000; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves professional services for the Market
and Feasibility analysis; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to said
Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, CITY, CVB AND CONSULTANT, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following
agreement, which amends the Contract:

Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
services below:
• Analyzing, modeling and estimating financing sources, such as hotel
taxes, for potential developments; sizing the project as it
relates to those funding sources;
• Conducting site strategy analyses with the City/CVB as it relates
to specific hotel and related developments;

rn • Preparing for hotel developer selections processes, including
strategy, incentive modeling;

• Other items related to the development of hotels, the
my renovation/expansion of the FWCC and WRMC arena that are not
specified in the current contract, as requested by the City, FWCC
°O or CVB
• Travel, research and other items related to the above, as
requested by the City, FWCC or CVB.
The cost to City for the additional services to be performed by
CONSULTANT shall not exceed $50, 000.00. The cost to CVB for the
additional services to be performed by CONSULTANT shall not exceed
$50, 000 .

Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in
the maximum fee to be paid to CONSULTANT for all work and services
performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by
the City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of
$141, 000.00.
3 .
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended
herein, shall remain in full`force and effect.
