FIRST AMENDMENT TO
FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 45148
This Amendment is made between the City of Fort Worth("FORT WORTH"), a municipal
corporation, acting herein by and through Charles W. Daniels, its duly authorized Assistant City
Manager and the Police Executive Research Forum ("PERF"), acting herein through Chuck
Wexler, its duly authorized Executive Director.
WHEREAS, FORT WORTH and PERF entered into an Agreement identified as Fort
Worth City Secretary Contract No. 45148 for a period of one year beginning November 25,
2013; and
WHEREAS, it is the collective desire of both FORT WORTH and PERF to amend the
Agreement to add one additional site visit and to increase the awarded cost to $111,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE, KNOWN ALL BY THESE PRESENT:
Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 45148 is hereby amended to be effective on
Z by:
1. Adding the following term to Section One:
Additionally, PERF will make a one-day site visit at the conclusion of the study in order
for the PERF representatives to meet with Fort Worth Police Department Command staff
and to present and review the details of the staffing allocation study final report.
2. Replacing the total amount as described in Section Four from $105,000.00 to
$111,000.00 so that the term reads as follows:
As compensation for performance hereunder, and upon timely and satisfactory
completion of all work, the City shall pay PERF a fixed fee not to exceed $111,000.00
payable as follows:
3. Adding the following term as the final bullet point in Section Four:
• One-day site visit for PERF representatives to meet with Fort Worth Police
Department Command staff and to present and review the details of the staffing
allocation study final report.
All other terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of said Agreement not expressly
amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
