JUSTIFICATION(REASONS)FOR CHANGE ORDER
Change order is to add items for revised striping(relocation for yield triangles and addition of skipped white"puppy tracks"for traffic entering
roundabout),stained full depth concrete in the splitter islands and monolithic median noses,exploratory excavation for pole foundation
placement,cobblestone in lieu of decomposed granite in the central island,and hydromulch. Additionally,the sod quantity needed to be
increased to account for additional grading required at the south east corner of the intersection(Mica). With the additional pay item for the
splitter island concrete,the 4"median stamped and stained concrete item was deleted. A credit has been taken against the central island
landscaping lump sum for the removal of the decomposed granite. The additional time is requested primarily for the modifications to
improvements already completed(traffic markings,median noses,etc...), as well as the additional grading required at the south east corner of
the intersection.
