COUNTY OF TARRANT $
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Carter &
Burgess,Inc. (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary
Contract No. 30370, (the Contract) which was authorized by the City
Council by M&C C-20200 on the 10th day of August 2004; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the
following project:
36-inch Walnut Creek Sanitary Sewer Interceptor
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 1 to
said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised
maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following
agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated January
14, 2005, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be
performed by Engineer total $5,000.00.
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an
increase in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and
services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not
exceed the sum of $116,509.00.

3.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended
herein shall remain in full force and effect.

The cost for additional design surveying by Gorrondona is $5,000. This was due to re-aligning
the sewer at two locations. The lengths total approximately 900 ' + 700' = 1,600 feet.
This was documented in a fax from Goreondona dated January 14, 2005.

Re:Additional Surveying Services for the Walnut Creek Sewer Interceptor,City of Fort Wortb
Dear W.Foyt:
Corrondona & Associates, Inc. is pleased to provide surveying services for the above referenced project.
The itemized project fees are shown below:
1.) Pmvide topographic surveying for approximately 900 linear feet for a proposed re-route across State
Highway No. 377. The width of the topographic survey shall be approximately 50 feet wide with cross-
sections taken at intervals to produce a digital terrain model. The topographic survey shall include
locating all visible features including,but not limited to,fences,pavement,tops and toes of slope,a City
of Benbrook-*rater well,water valves and sanitary sewer manholes.
2.) provide additional survey ties from approximately station 59+00 to approximately station 47- 00. The
survey ties shall be limited to the Horth side of the alignment and shall extend approximately 10 feet
beyond the existing topographic survey.
3.)Provide topographic surveying services for the reroute along Old Benbrook Road from Station 6+00 to
station 13+00. The width of the topogmphic survey shall extend from the southeasterly limits of the
existing topographic survey to the centerline of Old Benbrook Road(approximately 50 feet wide) with
cross-sections taken at intervals to produce a digital terrain model, The topographic survey shall include
locating all visible features including,but not limited to, fences, pavement, tops and toes of slope,water
valves and sanitary sewer manholes.
6.) Deliverables shall include incorporating all of the additional topographic surveying into the existing
digital file and producing a new digital terrain model,an ASCI)point file and a copy of the field notes..
Gorrondona& Associates,Inc.can complete the above itemized professional land surveying task for a fee
of$5,000,00 utilizing the existing fee schedule.If you have any questions or require additional information
