FIRST AMENDMENT TO FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
NUMBER 45996
MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT — DEFERRED COMPENSATION
COMMITTEE CONSULTATION SERVICES
This FIRST AMENDMENT TO FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NO. 45996 ("Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the
CITY OF FORT WORTH (the "City"), a home-rule municipal corporation of the State
of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and THE
RETIREMENT STORE, INC. ("Professional"), a Texas corporation acting by and
through its duly authorized President.
WHEREAS, City and Professional entered in to Master Services Agreement for
Deferred Compensation Committee Consultation Services, the same being Fort Worth
City Secretary Contract Number 45996 ("Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Parties have determined that Paragraph 2 of Article III,
"Modifications to Plano Contract," of the Agreement incorrectly structures the periods
for performance; and
WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to correct this error.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Professional do mutually covenant and agree as
follows:
1. That Paragraph 2 of Article III, "Modifications to Plano Contract," of Fort Worth
City Secretary Contract No. 45996 is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the
following:
2. The parties wish to provide for a contract term that is different than the one in effect for
the Plano Contract. Therefore, Section 11 of the Plano Contract, "Term of Agreement,"
shall not apply as between the parties,and the following provision shall apply instead:
H. TERM OF AGREEMENT
This Agreement shall govern the parties' rights and obligations with respect
to all services provided for a one-year period, beginning on September 19,

2014, and expiring September 18, 2015 (the "Initial Term"), unless
terminated earlier in accordance with Section X, "Contract Termination."
After the Initial Term, this Agreement may be renewed for up to four (4)
additional one (1) year periods (each a "Renewal Term") by mutual signed,
written agreement of the parties.
2. That all other terms and conditions of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No.
45996 that are not amended herein shall remain in full force and effect throughout the
term of the Agreement and any subsequent renewals.
3. This Amendment may be executed in one or more counterparts each of which
shall be deemed an original but all of which together shall constitute one and the same
instrument. Executed signature pages may be transmitted by facsimile or e-mail, and any
such electronically reproduced signature shall have the same legal effect as an original.
