(HOK) for a cost of$151,000.00. DISCUSSION: On May 5, 2004 (M&C C-20060), City Council authorized the execution of a conceptual architectural design services contract in the amount of$151,700.00 with HOK to assist the SH121-T Citizen's Advisory Group's (CAG) efforts to develop recommendations concerning the future tollway's nature and character plan. The time and effort required to complete the conceptual design has exceeded previous estimates from the project's staff and consultants. This is due largely to the need for the SH121-T project team to develop detailed architectural renderings to assist the CAG group's work and to illustrate the City's preferences to the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) and to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). This work has been crucial to the development of the CAG Nature and Character Plan, which was entered into TxDOT's public hearing record. In addition, HOK's services have been instrumental in the City's negotiation of the term sheet presented to Council on December 7, 2004 which was the basis of the executed Amendment No. 2 (M&C C-20435), of the tri-party agreement with NTTA and TxDOT for the development of SH 121-T.
