AMENDMENT NO. 6 TO ARCHITECTURAL KCKIAU A2CHITECTIuRE. INC
SERVICES CONTRACT

WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Komatsu Architects, Inc.
("Architect") made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 23886 (the "Contract")
which was authorized by the City Council by M&C C-16736 on the 21S` day of April,
1998; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 provided for preliminary design of the Medical
Incubator area, and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 2 provided for the development of a concept plan for
the renovation of the Elementary School Building, and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 3 provided for the design of the renovations to the
Gymnasium Building to house the proposed MedTech Center and for stabilization of the
Elementary School by $241,915 fixed fee, and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 4 provided for increased costs by the Mechanical
Engineering Consultant (MEP) during the course of the design of the Middle School, and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 5 provided for increased costs by the Mechanical
Engineering Consultant (MEP) to design and prepare submittals to be in compliance with
the 2000 International Energy Conservation Code, and
WHEREAS, further amendment is necessary to reimburse Komatsu Architects, Inc.
for reprographic, TAS review, and application fees for the sum of$4,502.25.

Replace 5.1.6 of the Contract to provide for "Programming, design and
construction management services for the Fort Worth MedTech Center and stabilization of
the Elementary School by $252,577.25 fixed fee."
3.
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall
remain in full force and effect.
