FIRST AMENDMENT TO CITY SECRETARY
CONTRACT NO. 32489
WHEREAS, on October 13, 2005, the City of Fort Worth ("City") and Jai Shri Ram hotel
LLC D/B/A Hampton Inn Fort Worth ("Hotel') made and entered into City Secretary Contract
No. 32489 (the "Agreement");
WHEREAS, the Agreement set out the terms and conditions relating to Group Rooms
Bookings for certain evacuees from Hurricane Rita as City determines to place in Hotel and
provides for payment for the charges for such rooms;
WHEREAS, it the mutual desire of City and Hotel to Contract; and
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of City and Hotel to amend the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, City, acting by and through Joe Paniagua, its duly authorized
Assistant City Manager, and Jai Shri Ram hotel LLC D/B/A Hampton Inn Fort Worth, acting by
and through Leslie Miller, its duly authorized General Manager, do hereby agree as follows:
I.
ARTICLE IV, TERM OF AGREEMENT is hereby amended to be and read as follows:
"This Agreement shall be effective from November 30, 2005 and shall continue in effect
through December 9, 2005. In addition, Hotel hereby grants City the right to extend this
Agreement for an additional thirty(30) days upon written notice to Hotel by City."

Exhibit"A" attached to the Agreement is hereby replaced with the Exhibit"A"
attached hereto.
All other terms and conditions of City Secretary Contract No. 32489 not amended herein
remain unaffected and in full force and effect, are binding upon the Parties, and are hereby
ratified by the Parties.

7 Rooms at $55.00 per room per night, inclusive of all taxes
Hotel Accommodations:
(1) Breakfast Room to accommodate meals

Breakfast Daily
Housekeeping everyday
Linens and Cleaning items provided upon request
