AMENDMENT OF LEASE AGREEMENT
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS
COUNTY OF TARRANT
THAT this Amendment of Lease Agreement is made and entered into between c
Primera Baptist Church ("Lessor")and the City of Fort Worth, a municipal corporation,
acting by and through its duly authorized representatives ("Lessee").
WITNESSETH
1. Lessor and Lessee hereby confirm and ratify, except as modified below, all of the
terms, conditions and covenants in that certain Lease Agreement signed June 26,
2002, City Secretary Contract No. 27814, and the letter agreements extending the
term until February 28, 2005 for office space located at 1519 Circle Park, Fort
Worth, Texas 76106.
2. Lessor and Lessee agree that effective Marchl 1, 2005 the Lease shall be renewed
for a term of one (1) year and shall expire on February 28, 2006.
3. Lessor and Lessee agree that the City of Fort Worth may further renew the Lease
for successive terms of 12 months each up to a maximum of two successive
terms.
4. Lessor and Lessee agree that the rent will remain at $0.00 per year.
5. All other terms and conditions of the original Lease Agreement and renewal
letters remain unchanged and in full force and effect.

Authorize Execution of a Lease Extension with Primera Baptist Church for Office Space at 1519
Circle Park Boulevard for the Police Department
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Authorize the City Manager to execute a lease extension for office space located at 1519 Circle Park
Boulevard from Primera Baptist Church, at no cost to the City; and
2. Approve the lease extension term of one year beginning March 1, 2005 and expiring February 28,
2006, with two options to renew for one year each.
DISCUSSION:
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division, at the request of the Police Department,
negotiated a lease extension agreement with Primera Baptist Church, for office space to be used by
neighborhood patrol officers.
The lease extension term is for one year, with two one-year options to renew. The City will pay no
rent. The Clty has leased space at this location since April, 2000. The landlord is responsible for payment
of utilities. The City is responsible for payment of telephone service.
RENEWAL OPTIONS — This agreement may be renewed for up to two successive one-year terms at the
City's option. This action does not require specific City Council approval provided that the City Council has
appropriated sufficient funds to satisfy the City's obligation during the renewal term.
This office space is located in Council District 2.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Finance Director certifies that this action has no material effect on City funds.
