HANGAR LEASE RENEWAL AGREEMENT
FT. WORTH, 3-1L
This HANGAR LEASE RENEWAL AGREEMENT ( "Agreement" ) is made and
entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT WORTH ( "Lessor" ) , a
home rule municipal corporation situated in Tarrant County, Texas
acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager,
and TARRANT COUNTY JUNIOR COLLEGE DISTRICT ( "Lessee" ) .
WHEREAS, Lessor and Lessee previously entered into City
Secretary Contract ( "CSC" ) No. 6523, as amended by CSC Nos. 9911,
11624 and 14965, a lease of ground space and improvements,
including Hangar 51-5, at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport
that is subject to renewal at Lessee's option for periods of two
years each through November 30 , 2000; and
WHEREAS, Lessee has exercised its penultimate option to renew
CSC No. 6523, as amended, for the period December 1, 1996 through
November 30, 1998; and
WHEREAS, Lessor and Lessee mutually desire to amend the
description of the Demised Premises in accordance with a new survey
performed on such Demised Premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS:

CSC No. 6523, as previously amended by CSC Nos. 9911, 11624
and 14965, all of which are on file in the Office of the City
Secretary of Lessor, is hereby extended for a term commencing
December 1, 1996 and ending November 30, 1998 .

The Demised Premises are shown in the map of Exhibit "A" and
described in the field notes of Exhibit "B. " Exhibits "A" and "B"
are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for all
purposes. All other previous descriptions of the Demised Premises
are hereby superseded.
3 .
All other terms and conditions of CSC No. 6523, as
previously amended by CSC Nos . 9911, 11624 and 14965, shall remain
in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
Agreement in multiples to become effective for the stated term upon
the filing with and assignment of a contract number by to City
Secretary's Office of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, this _)day

BEING a tract of land situated in the J. H, Duncan Survey, Abstract No. 397; Meacham International Airport
of the City of Fort Worth,Tarrant County,Texas. Also being part of the property described as Tracts"A',
"B","C" &"F"in the exhibit dated 8/11/77 in file number D-1037 and Also being part of the property

SUBJECT AMENDMENT TO AND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 6523, A
LEASE WITH TARRANT COUNTY JUNIOR COLLEGE DISTRICT AT MEACHAM
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute Renewal
Amendment of and Renewal to City Secretary Contract ("CSC") No. 6523, an improved ground
lease with Tarrant County Junior College District at Meacham International Airport.
DISCUSSION:
CSC 6523 is an improved ground lease agreement with Tarrant County Junior College District
(TCJCD).
The original term of this lease was two years, effective 12-1-70, followed by fourteen successive
two-year options. TCJCD has exercised its thirteenth option to renew the lease for an additional
two years.
Pursuant to a new survey of the leased premises, the lease also needs to be amended to increase
the total leased space by 1 ,991 SF for which TCJCD will pay the City an additional $159.28 per
year. The new leasehold will be 85,067 SF.
At its meeting on July 18, 1996, the Aviation Advisory Board moved "approval" with a vote of
5-yes, 0-No and 1-abstention.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Administration Section of the Department of Aviation is responsible for the collection of all
funds due the City under this agreement.
