WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and A.N.A. Consultants,
L.L.C. , (Engineer) made and entered into City Secretary Contract
No. 22143, (the Contract) which was authorized by the City Council
by MSC 15646 on the 17th day of September, 1996; and subsequently
revised by one previous amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the
following project:
Engineering contract for the design of water and sanitary
sewer replacement on Wabash Avenue (Trail Lake Drive) and
Granbury Road (Trail Lake Drive to Seminary Drive) .
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2 to
said Contract to include an increased scope of work and revised
maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through
their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following
agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional
engineering services specified in a proposal letter dated April 10,
2000, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed
by Engineer total $8,000.00.
2.
Article III, Section D of the Contract is amended to provide
for an increase in the maximum fee to be paid to Engineer for all
work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that
the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not
exceed the sum of $100,177.00.

3.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended
herein shall remain in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Sholola:
As per our discussion regarding changing the 20" water line in Trail Lake Drive to 36" as shown in the attached
exhibit.
We estimate our engineering fee to be $8,000.00, work will include the revision of fifteen (15) sheets of the
thirty-two (32) sheets of the construction plans and the contract document. The cost of the water system will
increase approximately$98,000.00. (See attached estimate and exhibit.)

The proposed amendment will allow A.N.A. Consultants, L.L.C. to provide additional
design and survey services on the project as requested by the City.
Subsequent to final design, the Water Department requested that the proposed water line
on Trail Lake Drive be upgraded from 20 to 36 inches in order to provide additional ca-
pacity in the water main system so as to adequately service customers in the immediate
vicinity.
A.N.A. Consultants, L.L.C. has submitted a proposal in the amount of$8,000.00 for the
additional design services thereby increasing the contract fee from $92,177.00 to
$100,177.00. I believe this fee is fair and reasonable for the additional design services.
Please authorize the additional fee by your signatures on the attached contract amend-
ment form
