AMENDMENT NO. #1 TO
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 42039
GEOTECHNICAL AND MATERIALS TESTING AGREEMENT
This Amendment is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a
Texas municipal corporation and Mas-Tek Engineering & Associates, Inc. ("Engineer").
WHEREAS, the parties have previously entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract No. 42063 ("Agreement"), effective on July 29, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement called for two annual renewal options which have been
executed; and
WHEREAS, the annual Agreement amount is $300,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement, as renewed, expired on July 22, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the work assigned prior to the expiration of the Agreement, as renewed, has
not been completed to date; and
WHEREAS, the City has extended the term of the Agreement pursuant to Article III,
Section 3; and
WHEREAS, the City and Engineer desire to amend the original Agreement to provide
up to $50,000.00 to the stated amount of compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by the through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement to amend the contract:
1.
Article II, Section 2 is hereby amended to add the amount up to $50,000.00 to the annual
compensation to Engineer.

n All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.
