AMENDMENT NO. #1 TO
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.42063
GEOTECHNICAL AND MATERIALS TESTING AGREEMENT
This Amendment is entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth ("City"), a.
Texas municipal corporation and Terracon Consultants,Inc. ("Engineer'j.
WHEREAS, the parties have previously entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract No.42063 ("Agreement"),effective on July 29,2011;and
WHEREAS, the Agreement called for two annual renewal options which have been
executed;and
WHEREAS,the annual Agreement amount is$300,000.00;and
WHEREAS,the term of the Agreement,as renewed,expired on July 22,2014; and
WHEREAS,the work assigned prior to the expiration of the Agreement, as renewed,has
not been completed to date;and
WHEREAS, the City has extended the term of the Agreement pursuant to Article III,
Section 3;and
WHEREAS, the City and Engineer desire to amend the original Agreement to provide
up to$50,000.00 to the stated amount of compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by the through their duly
authorized representatives,enter into the following agreement to amend the contract:

Article It, Section 2 is hereby amended to add the amount up to $50,000.00 to the annual
compensation to Engineer.

M All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain

in full force and effect.
