�le TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT No. 46009
AS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and NewGen Strategies & Solutions, LLC,
(CONSULTANT) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 46009, (the CONTRACT) which was
administratively authorized on the 10°i day of October, 2014 in the amount of$ 45,000.00; and Amendment
No.I which was administratively authorized on the 3rd day of February, 2015 in the amount of$5,000,and
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves services for the following project:
Audit of Bio Solids Contract; and

WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2 to the CONTRACT to include an
increased scope of work and revised fee.
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duty authorized
representatives, enter into the following agreement,which amends the CONTRACT:
1.
Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in a
proposal dated June 17, 2015, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for
the additional design services to be performed by Consultant totals $4,745.00. (See Attached Funding
Breakdown Sheet, Page-3)
2.
Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer
for all work and services performed under the Contract,as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all
work and services shall be an amount of$4,745.00.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force
and effect.

Subject: Request for$4,745 in additional funding—final payment/project close-out
Dear Mr.Townsend:
NewGen Strategies & Solutions, LLC (NewGen) respectfully requests an additional amount of $4,745 to
complete the bio solids audit. This funding is in addition to the initial funding of$45,000 and the $5,000
that was provided through Amendment No. 1 which was authorized February 3, 2015. As was mentioned
in Amendment No. 1, the additional funding of$5,000 was to assist with the final presentation of findings
to Renda (Task 6) and to assist with negotiations. It was stated in our letter dated December 19, 2014,
attached to Amendment No. 1,that the$5,000 may or may not be sufficient. It was found that additional
analysis and negotiations assistance was required,in addition to attending a meeting February 101h at Fort
Worth City Hall to attend a Public Infrastructure meeting where the final settlement offer was presented
to city officials. This $4,745 represents the final payment for services provided by NewGen in regards to
the bio solids audit, and completes our work on this project for the City.
