L 9 9 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Lawrence
Jeffery Hamilton d/b/a Hamilton Civil Engineering, (ENGINEER)
made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 46372 , (the
CONTRACT) which was authorized by M&C C-27144 on the 6th day of
January, 2015 in the amount of $203,415 . 00 ; and
WHEERF.AS, the CONTRACT was subsequently revised by
Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $6, 990 . 00 which was
administratively authorized on May 28 , 2015;
WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for
the following project:
Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacement Contract 2015,
WSM-A; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment
No.2 to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and
revised fee .
NOW IWEREFORE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and
through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the
following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT:
1 .
Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the
additional engineering services specified in a proposal dated
June 9, 2015 a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design
services to be performed by Engineer totals $15 , 300 . 00
2 .
Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an
increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and
services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the
total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be
an amount of $225 , 705 . 00 .

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not
expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and
effect.
EXECUTED and EFFECTIVE as of the date last written by a
signatory, below.

In response to your request on June 8, 2015, Hamilton Civil Engineering proposes to provide Additional
Engineering Services for this project.

B. FEE:
Hamilton Civil Engineering proposes the following Fee for Additional Services (includes overhead costs
such as,handling and postage, telephone, and faxes).

Topographic Survey $ 3,300.00 $ 3,300.00
Plan & spec book preparation $175/hr x 68.5 = $ 12,000.00
Total Water- $ 15,300.00
Original Contract Amount: $203,415.00

Dear, Mr. Sauceda:
Hamilton Civil Engineering offers additional Professional Engineering Services for this project.
These additional services are required due to the need for the design and plan preparation for
additional water lines.This Engineering Services Contract Amendment includes a detailed scope of
additional services attached to this letter. Hamilton Civil Engineering proposes to provide the
attached scope of additional services for the lump sum of$15,300.00. All additional services
proposed will be performed in accordance with the original contract dated January 27,2015. A
portion of this work will be completed by Shield Engineering Group,our survey subcontractor.
Their share of the work will be$3,300.00,or 21.57%.
This Amendment, consisting of one page and the attached Additional Scope of Services, consisting
of one page,represent the entire amendment to the original agreement between the City of Fort
Worth and Hamilton Civil Engineering. If the terms of this Amendment are acceptable,please
execute both copies and return one to our office to begin the additional services.
