WHEREAS, on January 23, 1981, the Fort Worth Consortium for
Employment and Training Programs ("Consortium") and the Fort
Worth Independent School District ("District") made and entered
into a lease agreement identified as City Secretary Contract
No. 11508, by which Consortium leased certain classroom space
from District; and
WHEREAS, on June 2, 1981, the parties to said City Secretary
Contract No. 11508 executed an amendment thereto known as City
Secretary Contract No. 11742, to alter the number of classrooms
to be leased thereunder and adjust the rent therefor accordingly;
and
WHEREAS, said City Secretary Contract No. 11742 incorrectly
identified the rooms to be leased thereunder;
NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the Fort Worth Consortium for Employment and Training
Programs (being composed of the Cities of Arlington, Bedford,
Haltom City, Euless, White Settlement, and Fort Worth, Texas)
("Consortium"), acting by and through Vernell Sturns, pursuant to
the Consortium Agreement identified as City Secretary Contract
No. 11267, a public record presently on file in the office of the
City Secretary of the City of Fort Worth, and the Fort Worth
Independent School District ("District") , acting by and through
Eugene J. Gutierrez, its duly authorized Associate Superinten-
dent, covenant and agree as follows:
The Amendment of June 2, 1981, to City Secretary Contract
No. 11508 is hereby reformed so that the initial paragraph of
said City Secretary Contract No. 11508, following "WITNESSETH": ,
shall read as follows:
"District agrees to lease unto Consortium for use by
Consortium, four (4 ) rooms in the I. M. Terrell High
School Building located at 1411 East 18th Street in the
City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, said build-
ing being owned by the District. The rooms to be leased
by the District are identified as Room Nos. 3a, 3b, 3c
and 3d, containing approximately One Thousand, One
Hundred Thirty-Eight and one-Half (1,138 1/2) square
feet of floor space." ;

The Amendment of June 2, 1981, to Section 2 of City
Secretary Contract No. 11508 shall remain as follows:
"2.
"For and in consideraton of the right to use and occupy
said rooms, Consortium agrees to pay District an annual
rental amount not to exceed the total sum of Two
Thousand, Eight Hundred Twenty-Seven and 96/100 Dollars
($2,827.96), said rental amount to be paid in eight
equal monthly installments of Two Hundred Eighty-Two
and 34/100 Dollars ($282.34) with the first installment
being due on or before the 15th day of October 1980,
and a like installment in the same amount on or before
the 15th day of each succeeding month through May
1981. Thereafter said rental shall be One Hundred
Forty-Two and 31/100 Dollars ($142.31) , payable on or
before the fifteenth of June and of each month there-
after until the expiration of the term on September 30,
1981."

The Amendment of June 2, 1981, to City Secretary Contract
No. 11508 is hereby reformed so that Section 6 of City Secretary
Contract No. 11508 shall have deleted therefrom the words "2" and
"203", rather than "3a, 3b, 3c and 3d", which latter words shall
be retained therein.
4.
All terms, provisions, conditions, covenants and recitals of
said City Secretary Contract No. 11508, which are not expressly
amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect during the
term hereof.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
agreement in multiples in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, this

Vernell Sturns, known to me to be the person whose name is
subscribed to the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged to me
that the same was the act of the Fort Worth Consortium for
Employment and Training Programs and that he executed same as the
act of said Fort Worth Consortium for Employment and Training
Programs, an association of municipal corporations (being
composed of the Cities of Arlington, Bedford, Euless, Haltom
City, White Settlement and Fort Worth, Texas) , for the purposes
and consideration therein expressed and in the capacity therein
stated, as authorized by the contract and agreement identified as
City Secretary Contract No. 11508, a public record presently on
file in the Office of the City Secretary of the City of Fort
Worth.
