Change order No. 1 will allow for the following:
• Increased pay items of 1-inch water service,concrete valley gutter,concrete driveway,concrete sidewalk and sod
installation that were necessary on the project.
• The adjustment to existing valve box,meter box,valve vault and sanitary sewer manholes to avoid damage to vehicles on
Forest Park and Vickery Boulevards.
• The removal and replacement(from the existing to the new right-of-way line of Rosedale Street)of existing fences and
gates to allow for the construction of a new city water main(between the old and new right-of-way)on Rosedale Street
from Miller Avenue to I.H.820, via a pending Rosedale Street project. Relocating the fences and gates at this time will
allow private utilities to relocate their facilities so that construction of the proposed new water main can commence
immediately after the award of the Rosedale Street project.The change order will also provide for the removal of
shrubs/trees and concrete paving that are in conflict with the new mater main.
• The deletion of pay item quantities that are no longer needed on the project.
Staff concurs with the contractor's request for 130 additional calendar days on the change order.
It is understood and agreed that the acceptance of this Change Order by the contractor constitutes an accord and satisfaction and represents payment
in full(both time and money)for all costs arising out of,or incidental to,the above Change rder.
