FIRST RENEWAL OF FORT WORTH
CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO. 46063
This FIRST RENEWAL OF FORT WORTH CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT
NO. 46063 ("Renewal") is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth, a
home-rule municipal corporation of the State of Texas ("City"), acting herein by and through its
duly authorized Assistant City Manager, and J. Lawrence Collins, LLC, a Texas limited liability
corporation, as successor-in-interest to Lawrence Collins ("Consultant"). The City and
Consultant are individually referred to as a"party"and collectively referred to as the"parties."
+REAS, in 2014, the City entered into a contract with Lawrence Collins, an
individual, for consulting services, the same being Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 46063
(the"Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for an one-year Initial Term with options for up to
four, one-year Renewal Terms; and
WHEREAS, since the Agreement was executed, Lawrence Collins formed J. Lawrence
Collins, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, to provide consulting services such as those
being furnished to the City; and
+REAS, City wishes to renew the Agreement with J. Lawrence Collins, LLC, as
successor in interest to Lawrence Collins, under the same terms and conditions for a first
Renewal Term commencing October 1, 2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Fort Worth and Consultant do mutually covenant and agree
as follows:

City and Consultant hereby agree to renew and extend Fort Worth City Secretary
Contract 46063 for a first Renewal Term of one (1) year, beginning on October 1, 2015,
and ending September 30, 2016.
2.
All terms and provisions of City Secretary Contract 46063 shall remain in full force and
effect throughout the first Renewal Tenn unless specifically amended herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the said parties have hereto set their hands and seal of office
to triplicate originals on this Qi4�ay of ,2015.
