WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth ("City") and Goodwin & Marshall, Inc. ("Engineer")
made and entered into City of Fort Worth City Secretary Contract No. 24814, ("Contract") which
was authorized by the City Council by M&C C- 17324 on the 16'h day of March 1999.
WHEREAS, the Contract involves professional services for the following project:
Northside III Water Transmission Main ; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Contract to include an increased scope
of work and revised maximum fee.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the contract:
1.
Section II of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services as
specified in a proposal letter from the Engineer dated June 11, 1999, a copy of which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein.
2.
Section IV of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the maximum fee to be
paid to Consultant for all work and services under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee
to be paid by City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of$93,350.00. The total fee
by this amendment is $5,045.00.
3.
All other provisions of the Contract which are not expressly amended herein shall remain
in full force and effect.

County, Texas.

Tear Mr. Trice:
We would like to request an increase in our contract fee for the aforementioned project in the
amount of$5,045.00. At the City's request,we designed a portion of a future 48"Northside II
water line that will be in the Park Glen Blvd. right-of-way.
If this request meets with your approval,please prepare the proper paper work to revise our
contract amount. If you have any questions regarding this request,please feel fee to call me.
