SUPPORT ORGANIZATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH
AND THE
FRIENDS OF TANDY HILLS NATURAL AREA, INC.
This SECOND RENEWAL OF CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT 40077 ("Second Renewal")
is made and entered into by and between the City of Fort Worth ('CITY"), a home -rule municipal
corporation of the State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized Assistant City Manager,
and Friends Of Tandy Hills Natural Area, Inc. CTOTHNA"), a Texas non-profit corporation,
acting by and through its duly authorized Director.
WHEREAS, the CITY owns 160 acres of property known as the Tandy Hills Park and
Natural Area, and
WHEREAS, FOTHNA supports the conservation and management of the Tandy Hills
Park and Natural Area, and
WHEREAS, FOTHNA sponsors events throughout the year to raise awareness of and
funds for the Tandy Hills Park and Natural Area, and
WHEREAS, the City and FOTHNA are parties to a Support Organization Agreement, the
same being City Secretary Contract No. 40077 (the "Contract"), pursuant to which FOTHNA
provides support of the Tandy Hills Park and Natural Area, and
WHEREAS, the Contract provided an initial two year period with two, two-year renewal
options; and
WHEREAS, the first renewal term expires on March 31, 2013, and
WHEREAS, City and FOTHNA wish to continue in their relationship by exercising the
second renewal option.
NOW THEREFORE, the City and FOTHNA agree to renew and extend the Agreement
as follows:
By execution of this Second Renewal, the CITY and FOTHNA agree to renew and
extend City Secretary Contract No. 40077 for a Second Renewal Term of two (2) years,
beginning April 1, 2013 and ending March 31, 2015. All terms and provisions of City
Secretary Contract No. 40077 shall remain in full force and effect during the Second
Renewal Term unless specifically 'qm,=d@4 ierein.
