and sole arbiter, then the City shall h ave the right to reject the

dure for a period of three years from the date hereof with the Priv-
ilt e on the part of the said City of Fort Worth to renew the featured
of this contract rwlating to the pyrchasd of rock asphalt material
for a further period of three yyard from the date of the oxp?ration
of the 'first period hereinabove mentioned upon the, same terms and
conditions as herein spy cif ods
(7) The party of the ;second pert further agrees to provide and
furnish to the Aid City of Fort Worth;after said plant shall have
been installed and commenced operation, a skilled workman to act as
far roman of said rasphalt plant under the direction of the City Engi-
naear and the Board of Commissioners of the said Cit? of Fort Wor. th'
which said workman shall be and remain until thirty thousand square
yards of said asphalt ratlerial shall have ben laidyor until such
time as his services may be dispensed with by the said Board of Com-
missioners,

Fort Worthy at the rate of One Hundred Dollars per month during the
time he shall be actually engaged in such work.
8) For the due :and faithful performance Of all and singular the
covenants? obligations and conditions on its part to be observed and
kept, the said party of the second part shall giver and make unto the
said City of Fort Worth a bond in the sum of Ten Thousand (0102000)
Dollars,conditione d for the faithful performance of the: contract on

once part2and by a surety company authorized to do business in the
state of Texas ?acceptable to said Board of Commissioners as surety
thereon,_
In consideration of the due and faithful performanceon the part
of the party of the second part; of the covenants ,obligations and
