COUNTY OF TARRANT,
That ` the City of Port Worth, a municipal corporation as
party of the first part and the Hyde Park Land ' Company a corporat-
ion, party of the second parkhave this day entered into the
following agreement.
The party of the first part agrees to lay the water mains
as hereinafter set forth, furnishing all materials and doing all
labor. Said water matins are to be laid under the direction of the
City Engineer and City .Plumber of said City, work to begin within
sixty (GO) days and to continue ao far as possible withatitt interru-
ttion until it is completed.
Party of the second part agrees to pay for the said
water mains to the party of the first part the total amount I of
. 5,800.00, paying for the mateZfial in advance and also paying for
the labor in laying' said pipes as the work progresses on Priday of
e ach week during which such labor is preformed, said payments to be
made to the Secretary of the Water Works of said City.
It is further agreed by the parties hereto that said sum
of $52800.00 is to be paid back by said party of the first part
to the party of the second part, Less, however, six percent deduct-
ion per annum, on said amount or such part thereof a s may remain
unpaidJbe-Inning when said pipes are laid according to this con-
tract, said deduction being to cover the deterioration and wear
of said pipes.
The aforesaid' payments are to be made in' water' furnished
by the party of the first parte under the direction of the water
works department of said City to the residents of Southland
Addition who may make connections, said water to be furnished at
the prevailing; rates to the residents in said Addition. The collec3
