AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING A UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE
FACTORY PLACE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the nine point five ( 9 .5 ) foot wide by one hundred sixty-
eight point nine (168.9) foot long utility easement located along
the west property line of Lot 6-R, Block 5, Factory Place Addition,
as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 1068, P.R.T.C.T., and as more
specifically described in attached Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated herein, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and
permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adja-
cent owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

DESCRIPTION OF q.5 FOOT WIDE
UTILITY EASEMENT TO BE VACATED
BEING 0.02 of an acre tract of land situated in Lot 6-R, Block 5,
Factory Place Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, according
to the plat filed in Cabinet A, Slide 1068, Plat Records of Tarrant
County ,'Texas; said 0.02 of an acre of land being more particularly
described by metes & bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a 5/8 inch iron rod found at the southwest corner of
said Lot 6-R, Block 5 and the southeast corner of Lot 4-R, Block 5,
Factory Place Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas according
to the plat filed in Volume 388-119, Page 33, Plat Records, Tarrant
County, Texas; said iron rod also being in the northwesterly line
of Block 1, Bill Snow Subdivision, an addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Texas, according to the plat filed in Volume 388-80, Page
59, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE North 00° 29' 07" West, along the common lines of said lots
4-R & 6-R, a distance of 168.87 feet to a point;
THENCE North 51° 21' 53" East, leaving said common line a distance
of 9.54 feet to a point;
THENCE South 00° 29' 07" East, a distance of 168.90 feet to a point
in the northwesterly line of said Block 1, Bill Snow Subdivision;
THENCE South 51° 30' 00" West, along said northwesterly line a
distance of 9.52 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing
1,266 square feet or 0.02 of an acre of land.

SUBJECT VACATION OF A UTILITY EASEMENT: FACTORY PLACE ADDITION, BLOCK 6, LOT 6-R,
WEST VICKERY BOULEVARD V-92-17
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 9.5'
wide by 168.9' long utility easement located along the west property line of Lot 6-R,
Block 5, Factory Place Addition, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 1068, P.R.T.C.T.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Robert H. Davis, owner of the subject property, has requested that the City vacate
the above utility easement for the purpose of expanding the building area. The
easement does not contain any utility facilities. Reviewing City departments and
private utility companies have raised no objection to this request.
FISCAL CERTIFICATION/INFORMATION:
The land agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a $1.00 fee satisfies the
interest of the City of Fort Worth in this vacation request.
