AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING OPEN SPACE EASEMENTS LOCATED WITHIN THE HAMPTON
PLACE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PRO-
VIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the series of ten (10} foot wide open space easements
located in Lots 9 through 13, 29, 30, 31R, 41R, 42R, 45, and 47
through 53, Hampton Place Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-193,
Page 56A, and Volume 388-202, Page 84, P.R.T.C.T., and as more
specifically described in attached Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated herein, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and per-
manently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated open
space easements is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owner as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are
retained for any and all existing and prospective utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a series
of 10' wide open space easements located in Lots 9 through 13, 29, 30, 31R, 41R, 42R,
45 and 47 through 53, Hampton Place Addition.
DISCUSSION:
Hampton Place, Inc., owner of all lots which are subject to this request, has requested
this vacation in order to provide access to adjacent properties for the maintenance of
residences on a lot line subdivision. Vacation of these open space easements is made
necessary due to a proposed replat of these lots for the purpose of providing
realignments of lot lines so that the property can be better developed.
A satisfactory replat has been submitted and reviewing City departments and private
utility companies .have raised no objections to this request.
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT N0. 7.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The land agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a $1.00 fee satisfies the
interest of the City of Fort Worth and the subject vacation.
