ORDINANCE NO_
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING TWO DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS AND A
UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN THE BF_NT OAKS ADDITION
TO JOHNSON COUNTY, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF
FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL_ OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS=
SECTION 1.
THAT t he thirty (30) foot w i de drainage and u1: i 1 i t y easement
located along the property line between Lots 8 and 9, the thirty
(30 ) foot w i de drainage and ut i 1. 9. t y easement 1. ocat ed a I ong t he
property Iine between Lots 9 and 10, and the ten (10) foot wide
utility easement located along the property line between Lots 10
and 11, Block 3, Bent Oaks Addition to Johnson County, Texas, as
recorded in Volume £3, Page 73, Plat of Records, Johnson County,
Texas, and as more specifically described in attached Exhibit
"A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, be and the same are
vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished_
SECTION 2_
THAT the fee to the land in the above described vacated
drainage and utility easements and ui:i.lity easement is hereby
released and shall revert to the adjacent ®wner as provided by
law.

SECTION 3.
THAT al.l ordinances or parts of ordinances in conl=lict
herewith are hereby repealed_
SF_CTION 4_
THAT this ordinance shall take effect and be in full. force
and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating three
drainage and utility easements as follows: a 30-

DISCUSSION:
Mr. Barney Ballard, surveyor, on behalf of the owner and developer of the property, has
submitted a replat to amend the configuration of lots 8 through 11 of Block 3 of Bent
Oaks Addition to create three residential lots to be known as Lots 8R, 9R, and lOR.
The subdivision is located in Johnson County within the Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction
of the City of Fort Worth. Reviewing City Departments and private utility companies
have raised no objections to the vacation of these drainage and utility easements and
a satisfactory replat has been submitted.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The vacation of the subject drainage and utility
impact on the City of Fort Worth. easements does not have a fiscal
