ORDINANCE NO. ~/
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING AN ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED WITHIN THE DISSEL
TRACT OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the east-west alley right-of-way as it runs from 9th
Avenue eastward to the north-south alley, and located adjacent to
Lots 51 through 56 and Lots 45 through 48, Dissel Tract, as
recorded in Volume 106, Page 129, P R.T C.T., and Lot 1,

L. R. Barton Subdivision, as recorded in Volume 839, Page 423,
P R.T.C.T., and as more specifically described in attached
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, be and the
same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated alley
right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent
owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

SUBJECT VACATION OF AN ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY: DISSEL TRACT, LOTS 45 THROUGH 48 AND 51
THROUGH 56: L. R. BARYON SUBDIVISION LOT 1 9TH AVENUE AT WORTH STREET
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance vacating an east-
west alley located between 9th Avenue and easterly to north-south alley, all adjacent
to Lots 45 through 48 and 51 through 56, Dissel Tract and Lot 1, L.R Barton
Subdivision as recommended by the City Plan Commission on September 30, 1992.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. John Weir, consultant on behalf of H.C.A Health Services of Texas, Inc., owner of
all abutting property, has requested that the City vacate the above described east-west
alley. This alley is being vacated in order that it can be incorporated with adjacent
properties and replated for expansion of the hospital facility. There is presently a
cable television facility and telephone facility within the alley, however acceptable
arrangements have been made to have these facilities removed from the alley right-of-
way. Reviewing City departments and other private utilities have raised no objections
to the vacation of this alley right-of-way An acceptable replat has been submitted.
This request is located itt COUNCIL DISTRICT NO 9.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The land agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a $12,600.00 fee
satisfies the interest of the City of Fort Worth in this public right-of-way. This
amount has been paid to the land agent
