Patrick Wyers, Robert Reid and C.B. Mauldin came before Council in effort to
further their goal of a Tax Rollback Election. There concerns centered on the
rate increase of 3.8/. and the excessive reserves that the City has. They propose
that citizens are given a chance to vote on this matter.
S.L. Gilliam came before the Council requesting aid from the City to clear trees
and bushes in the rear of the 2000 block of East Myrtle. The over growth is a
harboring place for dogs and other illegal activities. Ms. Gilliam asked that
the City help on behalf of her neighborhood.
