City ®f Fort Worth, Texas Mayr and Council Communication DATEREFS ERCE SUB.IEcT: Proposed Easement Abandonment PAGE NUM 8-2-65 PZ-148 in the South Hills Addition Iof 1 Mr. Earl Bradley, owner of Lot 15, Block 36, South Hills Addition, has requested abandonment of a six foot sanitary sewer easement along the west line of Lot 15, Block 36, South-Hills Addition, shown in red on the attached map. Abandonment of-the easement will allow construction of a drive-way and garage by the owner on the rear of the lot. The easement was originally required for possible future use as a relief sewer; however, the relief line has been constructed in Cromart Avenue ending the need for the easement. Public Works, Water, Traffic Engineering and the Planning Department have reviewed this request and do not object to the abandonment. Because the easement was specifically dedicated for municipal sanitary sewer uses, private utility companies did not review the request. The City Plan Commission has reviewed the request and recommends adoption of the ordinance that has been prepared abandoning the easement as requested. JLB:CM Attach.
