ITEMS TO BE CONTINUED/WITHDRAWN MSC G-7365 - Proposed Ordinance Amending Chapter 35, "Water and Sewer," of the Code of the City of Fort Worth - delayed one week by City Manager Douglas Harman MSC G-7368 - Authorize and Appoint Committee to Study Developer Fees - delayed one week by City Manager Douglas Harman MSC P-2318 - Hot Mix/Hot Lav Asphaltic Concrete for the Transportation and Public Works and Water Departments - withdrawn by City Manager Douglas Harman II. ITEMS TO BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA MSC L-9366 - Approval of Lake Worth Lease - Lot 22, Block 14, Lake Worth Lease Survey III. BOARD/COMMISSION CHANGES Ken Garrett, Lorenzo Strain, and Donald Curry were appointed to the Race Track Development Policy Advisory Committee IV. COMMENTS AND REQUESTS A. Stockyards 1. Councilman Gilley stated that because he is a substantial owner in a company that has interests in the Stockyards, the city's Legal Department has informed him that he may not participate in the discussions concerning the Stockyards. 2. Councilmen Murrin and Vance stated that their votes in support of the city's statement of intent to issue certificates of obligation for the purchase of the Livestock Exchange Building are only intended to keep the city's options open and do not necessarily indicate support of the proposal. 3. Mayor Bolen stated that the proposal as first submitted by Stockyards 85 is unacceptable to him. V. CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS 1. James Toal, Burt Shield, Sue McCafferty, Don Edwards, Totsie Campbell, Bill Gabriel, Ron Alves, Lee Elsesser, and Jim Riscky appeared in support of the ' city's proposed acquisition of the Livestock Exchange Building. 2. Marty Craddock appeared to present information regarding the Livestock Exchange Building. 3. Woodie Woods, Harold Abb, Jim Stanley, Margie Nunn, Herman Warkentin, and Jim Lovett appeared in opposition to the city's proposed acquistion of the Livestock Exchange Building.
