ITEMS TO BE CONTINUED/WITHDRAWN Resolution Establishing A City Voter Registration Program (held over from October 20, 1987) - continued for two weeks by Councilman Zapata. II. ITEMS TO BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA MSC P-2278 - Three Plain Bond Copiers for Reprograhpics (Print Shop) and the Office Services Department MSC P-2279 - Two (2) Trench Boxes for the Water Department III. BOARD COMMISSION CHANGES Luke Ellis was reappointed to the Board of Adjustment. Robert Arms was appointed to the Park and Recreation Advisory Board. IV. COMMENTS AND REQUESTS Councilman Louis Zapata asked for an update on the Tarrant Appraisal District. City Manager Douglas Harman stated that arrangements are being made for a representative of TAD to meet regularly with City Council. V. CITIZEN PRESENTATIONS A. Copy Machines (M&C P-2278) 1. David Alexander appeared to request that the contract for copy machines for reprograhics be awarded to Xerox based on perceived inconsistencies in the bid review. 2. Stephanie Stewart of Eastman Kodak appeared to answer questions regarding the copy machines that her company would supply. B. Trench Boxes (M&C P-2279) 1. Don Yonts appeared to question the bid specification compliance of trench boxes that will be supplied to the city by a rival company. 2. James Bilderback appeared to answer questions concerning the type of trench boxes his company will supply to the city. B. Hanging posters in City Hall. Dr. Wilfred James appeared to request permission to hang posters in City Hall and other city facilities. City Manager Douglas Harman referred Mr. James to appropriate staff to get information regarding the posting of material in City-owned buildings. C. Sub-standard housing Jim Hall, Alan Saberian, and Jim McGinnis appeared to request delays in demolition of sub-standard houses. D. Glass and aluminum recycling Laurence Slack appeared regarding a proposed glass and aluminum recycling program to benefit low-income citizens.
