BLOCK 3 LOT 21-B-R PROPOSED JENSON ROAD AND MEADOWBROOK DRIVE
V SE4VQCEa sv'2
~r,x. RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance to:
1. Vacate a portion of an un-named county road right-of-wa
of a
roximatel
30' wide
y
pp
y
X 190' long and located in the 5400 block of Meadowbrook Drive, and
2. A portion of an un-named street right-of-way, approximately 50' wide x 60' long,
adjacent to the northerly line of Meadowbrook Drive in the 5300 block, and
3. A portion of an un-named county road right-of-way, approximately 30' wide X 530'
long and located southeast of the intersection of Jenson Road and Wilson Road.
DISCUSSION:
The City Department of Parks and Recreation is in the process of platting Meadowbrook
Park Golf Course as part of the improvement and development of the subject property.
In the course of preparing the replat, portions of three un-named streets were
determined to exist as public right-of-way and need to be vacated to clarify clear
title and use of the property for public recreation purposes.
The three un-named portions of streets are undeveloped and do not contain any utility
facilities. Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no
objection to the vacation of these public rights-of-way. A satisfactory replat has
been submitted for the Meadowbrook Golf Course.
This property is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 4.
