DISCUSSION: Richard J. Hyde, owner of the property, and acting on behalf of the purchaser ,, Race Track Petroleum, Inc., has requested that the City vacate this street right- of-way (as shown on the attached map) in order to replat the vacated right-of-way with the adjoining property for development as a retail sales and gasoline sale outlet. The street is not open on the ground but does contain both sewer and electric utilities. Necessary easement rights will be retained. The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a fee of $28,440.00 satisfies the interest of the City in this street right-of-way. Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objection to this request. A satisfactory replat has been submitted. MG:u 06ke11 APPROVED BY CITY COUf~CI~.
