CODE RELATING TO THE GROWTH AND ACCUMULATI N OF WEEDS AND BRUSH
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance amending
Subsection (c) of Section 11A-8 of the City Code relating to the growth and
accumulation of weeds and brush.
BACKGROUND:
The current Code provision requires the person having charge or control of property to
maintain the area of the property between the property line and the curb line. The
recommended ordinance changes "curb line" to "edge of street pavement".
