SECTION I.
That the appropriations for the ensuing fiscal year beginning
October 1., 1931, and ending September 30, 1932, for the different de-
partments and purposes of the City of Fort 17orth be fixed and determined
as follows:

XI IWATMWOPYS AM BUDCsET
The '4later Department shall be provided with such revenue
as may be secured from the sale of dater and other sources as shown
by other ordinances heretofore passed and such money shall be used
to meet the requirements of that department as provided in the budget
of the City hanger.
XII PARKS
The Department of Public Parks shall be provided with funds
realized from a tax levy of 9y on each ;4100.00 of assessed value of all
real, personal and mixed property in the City of Fort 'dorth not exempt
from taxation by law, and such money shall be used to meet the require-
ments of that department as provided in the budget of the City manager.
XIII MI MULTI OAT
The Department of Public Recreation shall be provided with
funds realized from a tax levy of 2V on each ;x100.00 of assessed value
of all real, personal and mixed property in the City of Fort north not
exempt from taxation by law, and such money shall be used to meet the
requirements of that department as provided in the budget of the City
Manager.
XIP LIBRARY
The Public Library shall be provided with funds realized
from a tax levy of 3V on each `=100.00 of assessed value of all real
personal and mixed property in the City of Fort North not exempt from
taxation by law, and such money shall be used to meet the requirements
of that department as provided in the budget of the City iv?anager.
SECTION II*
That the distribution and div is ion of the above named appro-
priations be made in accordance with the budget of expenditures submitted
by the City hanger and as revised by the City Council in accordance
with -the provisions of the City Charter and adopted by the City Council
and which budget is made a part of this ordinance by reference thereto
and shall be considered in connection with the expenditures of the above
appropriation.
SCCTIOIT III.
That the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, as heretofore
provided and for which meeting notice has been duly given, shall sit as
a committee of the whole in the Council Chamber at the City Hall in the
City of Fort `clorth on ':iednesday, the 16th day of September, A. D. 1931,
at 9:30 o'clock a. m., to hear any complaints, suggestions or observations
that any citizen, taxpayer or party interested may desire to make with
reference to any or all the provisions of this ordinance, and such com-
mittee shall continue its deliberations until the public has been given
a full opportunity to be heard.
SECTION N.
That following the public hearings,for which provision has been
made in the precedin section, this ordinance shall be published in the
official newspaper of the City of Fort Worth and which newspaper is one
of general circulation in said City, together with a separate schedule
setting forth the items in the estimate of the City Lianager, which were
omitted or changed by the City Council, and the reason for such omission
or change, as required by the Charter of said City.
SECTION V.
That this ordinance shall not be presented for final passage
until ten full days have elapsed after its publication, as provided by
the Charter of said City.
SECTION VI.
Should any part, portion, section or part of a section of
this ordinance be declared invalid or inoperative or void for any reason
by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgment
shall in no way affect the remaininS portions, parts, sections or parts
of sections of this ordinance, which provisions shall be, remain and. con-
tinue to be in Pull force and effect.
SECTION VII.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage and publication as
required by the Charter of the City of Fort rYorth.
