AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE PORTION OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 8,
BYERS-MCCART ADDITTION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY,
TEXAS, LYING BETWEEN THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 22 AND A LINE 25
FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 16, BE ABANDONED, VACATED
AND CLOSED; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID
LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That that portion of the alley in Block 8, Byers-McCart Addition to
the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, lying between the south
line of Lot 22 and a line 25 feet north of the south line of Lot 16, be
and the same is hereby vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an alley
or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said alley above described is hereby re-
leased and will revert to the owners as provided by law, save and except
that easements are reserved for any and all existing utilities, including
the existing storm drain and sanitary sewer line easements.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
