ORDINANCE N0. ~D
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING AND EXTIN-
GUISHING A UTILITY EASEMENT- LOCATED WITHIN THE CORBELL
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING FOR REVER-
SION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the five (5) foot wide by approximately one hundred
ninety (190) foot long utility easement located adjacent to the
west property lines of Lots 27 through 29, Block 1, Corbell
Addition, as recorded in Book 1923, Page 159, Deed Records,
Tarrant County, Texas, a parcel of land out of the A. McLemore
Survey, Abstract No. 1056, and the F. Woods Survey, Abstract
No. 1624, and as more specifically described in attached
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, be and the
same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and
extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated
utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adja-
cent owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so
ordained.

SUBJECT VACATION OF A UTILITY EASEMENT: CORBELL ADDITION, BLOCK 1, LOTS 27 THROUGH
29 NORTH BEACH STREET AND BEACH STREET WEST V-90-11
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt an ordinance vacating a 5' wide by
approximately 190' long utility easement located along the rear of Lots 27 through 29,
Block 1, Corbell Addition, as recorded in Book 1923, Page 159, Deed of Records, Tarrant
County, Texas, a parcel of land out of the A. McLemore Survey, Abstract #1056 and the
F. Wood Survey, Abstract #1624.
DISCUSSION:
Buddy Greenhaw, surveyor, representing the owner of the property, has requested that
the City vacate the above-described easement. The easement does not contain any
utilities. The vacation is made in order to utilize the vacated easement as part of
the adjacent property.
Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objections to
this request. A satisfactory replat has been submitted.
The subject request is located in Council DISTRICT 4.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
It has been determined that a $1.00 consideration fee satisfies the City of Fort
Worth's interest in this request.
